From Books To Unforgettable Memories

My journey into storm chasing started at a young age, sparked by watching Twister. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a deep passion. As a kid, I spent countless hours reading books about tornadoes, severe weather, and storm structure—constantly trying to understand the science behind what I was seeing in the sky.

By my later teens, that passion turned into action. Without a car, I chased storms on my bike and tracked flooding on foot—doing whatever it took to be close to the weather. While most people avoided storms, I was drawn to them, building experience and knowledge with every opportunity.

In 2021, everything changed when I got my first car. That same year, just west of Owatonna, Minnesota, I witnessed my first tornado—an unforgettable moment that solidified my path in storm chasing. During that chase, I also met my long-time chasing partner, Michael Marrero (Kryptonite Weather).

Today, as Team Interceptor, I continue to pursue severe weather with purpose—combining passion, experience, and a commitment to being in the right place at the right time. What started as a childhood fascination has grown into a relentless drive to intercept storms and document the power of nature firsthand.
