Single Day Ride Along in Pure Michigan

Are you a local weather enthusiast or a Michigan storm chaser who wants to jump into the action without the commitment of a multi-day tour?

This exclusive On-Call Ride-Along package puts you in the thick of the chase alongside the Twister Cowboys. While Michigan is world-famous for its 11,000 inland lakes and the longest freshwater coastline on earth, we also sit at a unique crossroads of atmospheric power. When the lake breezes collide with warm southern air and the forecast for severe weather is primed over the Mitten, you get the call.

Witness the unique and powerful supercells that explode across the rolling farmland and orchard-lined horizons of West and Central Michigan. Unlike any other region, our storms are fueled by the massive moisture of the Great Lakes, creating dramatic shelf clouds and high-contrast structures that define the Michigan chasing experience.

Michigan is known for its "under the radar" intensity and rapid storm evolution. Because our terrain can be a challenge—from the dense forests of the North to the radar blind spots in the Thumb—having a professional team is essential. This single-day pass puts you in the passenger seat of a specialized chase vehicle for an intensive 6–12 hour intercept mission right here in the Great Lakes State.

1 Single Chase Day

Duration: 6 to 12 hours

Base City: Lansing, Michigan

No Lodging: $425 Total

Lodging Included: $750 Total

Experience the fury of pure Michigan with the Twister Cowboys

This is a high-octane chase experience in the heart of the Great Lakes Region. Our single-day On-Call system is designed to bypass the downtime of traditional tours, striking only when the atmospheric parameters in Michigan are at their absolute peak.

📞 The On-Call Advantage: How It Works

  1. Advance Booking: Book your seat by submitting your order to secure your spot on our Priority Chase List for the entire storm season (typically April through August).

  2. The Activation Call: Our team will analyze the models. If a high-confidence target for a supercell, high winds, or tornado potential forms within a reasonable chase range of our base city, you will receive an Activation Notification 48-72 hours in advance.

  3. Confirm & Meet: Upon your confirmation, the remaining balance is paid. You will meet the team at the designated Michigan Rendezvous Point (e.g., a hotel in Bloomington) on the morning of the chase day for your briefing. Folks who need before and after chase lodging will be briefed the evening and morning prior to the day of the chase.
